Hunter's Mom Follow Up
I spoke to my friend, Hunter Friday evening and he said they have finally diagnosed that his mother has an aneurysm stemming from hitting her head on the window in the truck during the accident last week. Right now, they are going to do more testing to determine if they should operate or not. Then of course the family will have to decide if they want to risk brain surgery or not.
His mother will remain in the hospital indefinitely until they know more. If any of you know about aneurysms, they are something that can burst at any time in the brain so this is a very scary situation. My mother actually had an aneurysm when I was a young child and she went thru surgery and is perfectly healthy today, however the risk is very, very high with or without surgery for brain damage or death if it bursts.
Please continue to keep my friend and his family in your thoughts and prayers. This is a very difficult situation for all of them right now.
Thanks so much,
Amy

Amy,
I am sorry to hear about your friend's family. I will definitely pray for his mom! My mom's father and her sister passed from undiagnosed brain anuerysms, so it is a good thing for sure that she was diagnosed and now they can proceed with treatment. While it is a scary situation, just keep up those prayers, medical and modern science has evolved so much throughout the years, that there are greater options and more chance of success. My prayers are going out!

I am back to work on 04/11. Not really looking forward to it, but hey we gotta pay those bills don't we?!!! I am actually doing pretty good no problems at all since surgery. I am have really been blessed. I am down 38lbs so I still have along way to go. But I just take things one day at a time.
