First seminar

I went to my first seminar last night with Dr Mark Fusco, I have decided to have the Lap-Band surgery. It seems to have fewer complications, It is less invasive, and it is done as an out patient, The Seminar was very helpful!! They were very thorough in explaining everything and answering all questions. I took my Mom along with me, and she was skepitcal going in, but as soon as we walked out the door she gave me her approval!!! I am really excited now!! I have already begun to check things off my "Pre-Surgery Checklist" . I can hardly wait for them to give me a surgery date, because that will be the day I begin my new life!!

Congratulations on taking your FIRST step!!! Remember that whether it's the LapBand or the RNY surgery - this is a tool for all of us - and we must make a committment to continue to eat right and exercise that is the key. Keep us posted in your progress!!
