3 weeks out and so HAPPY!
My experience has been so exciting. My surgery went so well, was only out of work for 4 days. My boss was so surprised to see me walk into the office. I took it slow the first couple of weeks at work, and my boss was very supportive.
I don't know what my experience would have been like without the love and support of my family and friends. Keep your friends close and don't be shy about sharing what you are feeling, they really do understand.
I went to church Sunday after my surgery on Tuesday, I wish everyone could have seen the smile of encouragement my pastor gave me as I came into service.
I am 3 weeks out and have lost 25 pounds. Easter was a CHALLENGE, but I was determined and everything went really well. Amazingly the Egg Custard (made with Splenda) was palatable, it was so kind of my family to remember that I had dietary limitations.
OH! I went out with family and friends and had dinner and we had the best time. 3 boiled shrimp 1/8 th of a baked potatoe (no skin) and 3 stringbeans and I was satisfied and good to go. My friend have found out I am now a cheap date LOL...well this is getting long so I will go for now...
Dr Webb, THANK YOU! You are my hero!
Congrats Mari!!
It really sounds like you are doing great and I would expect no different with such a great surgeon. Dr Webb did my surgery 5 1/2 months ago. I have just been feeling great. I think he is a wonderful and knowledgeable surgeon on this surgery and I am glad I went to him.
Your success so far only proves it more to me.
Congrats on getting through Easter and isn't it wonderful to have such a supportive and thoughtful family. You are truly blessed. I know I feel that way about mine. I am feeling wonderful and each day is a new adventure with more energy than I have ever felt. I will be 51 on Friday (yes, I am a april fool baby) and I have never never had this much energy in my life.
Wow !
Here's to a great journey
and may it go smoothly for you.
