Stphanie, my surgeon has us get blood work done, at six months out, at 12 months out, and then every twelve months after that.

I go to my PCP every 3 months to do bloodwork & checkup due to my diabetes and when I went it was at almost 6 months, but they didn't do it correctly - i only got b12 and calcium done with the regular workup so when my next 3 month comes on - i have to request all vitamin areas to be checked. I agree with the last post...6 months - 6months then once a year per my surgeon.

Stephanie, mine was at 3 months, then 6, then yearly. Of course, if you feel something is wrong, they can run them any time just to check. Keep a good eye on the levels. Patty
