Hope all of you had a RESTFUL weekend and are ready for the week that lies ahead...EASTER week!! My kids have not stopped reminding me about it and beg me everyday now for their baskets early! I hope you have a blessed easter holiday! Did you have favourite stuffed animal as a child? What was it and what was it's name? Where the heck is it NOW?? Mine was a bear that I got on christmas eve... (that was the day my childhood doggy got ran over by a car) his name was RJ and I slept with him faithfully everynight until I got married. Hubby said he was NOT sharing the bed with my bear! SO after putting up with the torment hubby would ritualistically put poor ole RJ through... I had mercy on him (RJ not hubbby) and packed him away. My daughter now has him in her room though. Hubby still picks on RJ when I sneek a snuggle! Missing my RJ, Sallykate

I had two favorites, one was a Snoopy dog I got when I had my tonsils removed when I was 5 y/o and the other was a doll that my Mom gave me, she had a beautiful light pink and white fur trim outfit, she looked like a princess. Amy

Well, I didn't have one. Does that seem wrong? LOL My baby sister had two snoopys she called wee-ba. She had them for years and it wasnt until she was about ten years old that she gave them up. So I guess my baby sister was my toy as a child, I took her everywhere with me and she slept with me just about every night until we were in our early teens. She probably would've still slept in the bed with me but our baby-neice moved in at about that time and little sister had to move into her own room.

ok , I'm comfortable enough with my manhood to admit(gulp), I slept with a teddy bear that was actually colored like a panda. His name was Blackie and he lives at my parents house in threadbare condition. But if I am ever presented with this info, I will deny it. .....but he sure did understand me and never disagreed with me,,....hey wait maybe i should go retrieve him..hmmmm

I didn't have a stuffed animal -- I usually had my dog or cat sleeping at the foot of my bed. In fact, I still do......... LuvitsunnyV

Mine was a teddy bear that was actually my best friends. While my parents were going through a divorce I stayed with my best friend and at some point I caught the flu.Well I did not have my own stuffed animals to cling on to so she lent me her bear. One day after her mother brought me some chicken soup the bears foot had landed in the soup while I was resting -from that day on we call him mr. chickie foot ( from the soup) and it is on my head board and my husband will sleep with it when i am working a late shift -it is a battle because I want to stay perfect and when I get home sometimes he has mr chickie foot curled in a ball under him.have a great day people !! Easter, 1971. I was four-years old and saw a fluffy white stuffed lamb in the window of Read's department store. She had a little bellon a blue ribbon around her neck. I wanted it more than anything. I was crushed a few days later when it was gone! Imagine my thrill Easter morning when the snowy lamb appeared in my basket! I named her Amy. I insisted on taking her to church that morning - my mother had to tape her little bell otherwise it would be ringing all through the service!! Amy now sits on my son's shelf in his room. She is missing her eyes, is gray, and is missing most of her fluffy fur due to a "haircut" I gave her when I was six. But in my eyes, she is still as beautiful as she was in that department store window. Kristen

I had this most adorable little bear since I was like 5 that had these HUGE sad brown eyes that I called Boo bear (I found out later, when I could read properly, that he had a tag that read "Burley Bear" on his butt). He slept in my bed every night, and after the movie Child's Play was released, so did all my other dolls so they wouldn't feel "left out" and decide to thrash me...LOL When I was about 10 my best friend's mom had a garage sale and lo and behold, was boo bear's best friend, an identical dog with the same eyes and on his tag read "Sad Sam". My friend paid her mom 10 cents to give him to me because she said they needed each other like we did. awww...... I still have both of them, sitting in the top of my closet, leaning on each other with those big 'ol eyes. They are in almost new condition, with just enough of the "flat fur look" to know they were loved! Great question Miss Sallykate! -Phoenix 287/245/150

I have a Samuel. It is a big floppy stuffed ****er spaniel. I got him when I was 8 and slept with himt till I got married. He now sleeps on the shelf on my headboard. His tail is broken and he is a little worse for wear but when I have had a bad day or don't feel good he comes off the shelf and in to the bed. Kat
