I sure have missed ya'll

I wanted to say how much I missed everyone since I have been gone. Vickie, thanks for asking. It makes me go ahead and get back into things. I have been in south Florida with my friends that's daughter, Gina was so sick. If you remember, she had a heart and double lung transplant six years ago and had recently been diagnosed with liver cancer. (this was a side effect of the meds she took for non-rejection of transplant) Gina passed away March 15 at the age of 28. I can still hardly believe it. She was taken off life support 3 days before as she had requested and slipped away from us. She was like a daughter to me. I was considered her "second Mom" . I will miss her terribly. She was a walking miracle for so long and loved life to its fullest. I will live the rest of my life celebrating the life. If I ever feel down about how rough life is, I will only have to remember her courage and her stamina for life. Someday I will write her story. Sorry this is long. I thank you for letting me tell about Gina. You are truly special in my life. Carol

Carol, I had hoped you weren't gone because of a situation like this. What a shame to lose such a special person. Hopefully her friends and family find comfort in knowing that she has touched so many lives. Take care, Amy -161lb.

Oh Carol, I'm so sorry to hear that Gina lost her battle with cancer. I'm sure it is comforting to remember all the wonderful times you shared, especially those from the 6 "extra" years. You & Gina's family will be in my prayers. Vickie J.
