This past week-end I went to a wedding, my cousin got married so all my family members were at this wedding. Now the only people that know about my surgery is my mom, dad, sister and brother. The only people I have seen after surgery is my mom and dad. So when I went to the wedding everyone was telling me how good I looked. It felt soooo good. I'm the kind of person that don't know how to take a complement but I have to say I could get used to that in no time at all. Now if only my husband could see me. My own personal goal after my husband deployed was to be under 200 by the time he came home and I'm at 215 now and he's coming home July 1st. Its so hard not to email pictures. I miss him so much. I hope everyone is having a good St.Patrick's Day and don't drink to much green beer. Stephanie -62 9 weeks post-op

Stephanie congradulation on the weightloss. this past weekend I saw my family after I had mine in nov of 2004. I have lost 68 pounds and my son told my wife that he could tell I have lost weight. My brother didn't say to much about it. Also my wife had lost 107 pounds since her wls in July of 2003. A friend of mine who i worked with came from NY and she now calls us the skinnies. It is so nice to be able to share a meal at a rest. 4 months and 68 down.....
