Hi All
I had my surgery in Jacksonville but it is too far to drive to go to support groups on a weekday
are there any good groups or get togethers around the Gainesville area?

Call the hospital(s) in your area as most of them will have a seminar and support group. 

In addition, I'd call any bariatric offices down there and see what they can tell me.  Must surgeons have support groups but they're usually for their own surgeons but it won't hurt to ask.
