Howdy all! IT'S FRIDAY!!!! Hope you all have a super duper weekend!! Who was your FIRST best friend and what is something your remember about them? Mine was a girl named Melinda. 3rd -5th grade. We both LOVED to play dolls and we would put our dollies in strollers and stroll all over the neighbourhood together. We lived in a tiny faming town in Canada... those were the days when it was safe for little girls to roam the neighbourhood! WHat fun times we had. Sallykate

Her name was Sunshine and we were 3rd-5th graders. When I was growing up we lived 20 miles out of town on a huge lake in NW Wisconsin. Our nearest year round neighbor was 4 miles away...it was great growing up in the woods. Sunshine and I use to hang out occasionally during summer swimming and goofing around the boys that came up from the twin cities. I still have pictures of us in our bathing suits posing like models When we met I thought she was so cool because her cousin was on our championship high school basketball team. I remember the team coming to the grade school and we were asking for their autograghs. To be young and innocent again.... Tracey -123

Mine was my cousin Kathy - we would have sleep overs - staying up all night laughing and talking. Oh yeah, her dad would take us down a country road in his old bonnivelle. ON THE LUGGAGE RACK!!!! Now that was fun. Talking about Mr. Right and what we want to be when we grow up. tina

My best friends were a little older than me. They were sisters (Linda and Pat) and lived a couple of houses from mine. Sadly, we have lost contact. We were always out in the neighborhood. Summer nights were the best -- I think we played "kick the can" and "hide and seek" until midnight. We had "enchanted forests", we "explored space", we were full of imagination. We had no fear. It was fun just to lie on the ground and try to count stars............. LuvitsunnyVB~lo/goal
