The new AchievOne coffee protein drinks

I don't know whether or not any of you have been interested in this new frappuccino-like protein drink, available from bariatriceating.com (I saw the banner ad for them here on the OH site), but I placed an order for a case of them. They have 20g of protein and 3.5g of sugar per 9.5 oz bottle. Anyway, they are pretty good--but I can't tolerate the sugar in them. Is anyone interested in buying them from me? I bought a case of 12, minus the one I drank, which leaves 11; the cost was $23.95 before shipping, so how about we call it even at $22? The flavors included are Hazelnut Creme, Vanilla Nut, Mocha Java, and Cappuccino. Go to the website for more specific nutritional info. If interested, please be local so we don't have to fuss over mailing them. Thanks, Kim

Kim, I love these drinks and have 1 or 2 every day, but I bought mine from the company and have enough on hand, plus I'm not really local. I hope you find someone who knows a good thing when they hear it because these drinks are fantastic!! I'm sorry you can't tolerate the sugar - are you sure it's not the milk? There's only 3.5 grams of sugar in the bottle, but milk is the second ingredient and I thought you might be lactose intolerant. Anyway, these drinks are wonderful to anyone who might be interested. Hi Jan-- I'm pretty sugar sensitive, so I knew I was taking a gamble with the drinks. I thought I could handle them but apparently not. As far as the milk goes, I do drink fat free plus milk (with the acidophilus added) from Publix once or twice a week and handle it okay, so I would imagine that that isn't the issue either. Thanks for the feedback--I hope someone jumps on these, too....they are really good! Kim

Hi Kim! I am in Tampa and have been wondering about those drinks. Is 4 weeks post-op too soon to drink them? I was not sure...I have been drinking water and milk (with my protein shakes) and sometimes juice, so I would think it's okay. Let me know if you know about that, and I think I would like to go ahead and take those off your hands. Thanks! -Phoenix
