Hi I'm new

Hello everyone!!!! My name is Markella I am 26 yrs old and I have an obesity problem. I weigh 294 and I am only 5'4. I have been thinking about this surgery for a very long time. My life is a mess. Because I can't find a job. And if I find one they don't want me. And the worst is if I don't work I can't get insurance so I can have this surgery. Everyday that passes I just keep falling into a deep depression. And I see how my emotions effect my husband. Even though he still says I am beautiful. I have tried everything. All the diets possible, all the excerises, and nothing seems to work. I am just running out of ideas. You all give people like me the strength to fight. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING Markella

Markella - Welcome to the Fl Boards! It sounds like you've given this alot of thought and I applaud you - the first battle is deciding to do this or not. It doesn't say where you live, what part of Florida you are from. Can you get coverage from your husband's job? Can you apply for Medicare? I've heard of many docs accepting Medicare. Email me.
