What is Protinex?

I tried looking it up on line, but I couldn't find anything. Is it a pill, drink or what? If it helps me to keep my hair, I want to find out!! MaryKaye

Do you mean Protonix? If that is what you mean, my understanding is that it is an acid reducer. My Dr. prescribed it for me as well. It is in fact a pill, and it definitely wont help with hair loss. I know that for sure. lol Good luck, Amy Nolen -62lbs

I take Protonix, it was prescribed by a gastro specialists because Prevacid wasn't working.

It is pure liquid protien, one of the surgeons that i was scheduled with in Ft.Myers wanted his patient's to drink 30cc a day. His office got it from the dietation at local hospital.I dont know where you can purchase on outside I will look at the bottle tonight if you e-mail me and remind me to check out what is on label Nancy

Hi, Today the nutritionest at my surgeon's office had an ink pen that said...Proteinex...it caught my eye so I asked her about it. And yep, there is a liquid protein. Sorry we got it confused with Protonix.
