7 months out.

Well today is my 7 month anniversary of my new life. In these 7 months things have changed so much for me and so fast, faster then I expected. I am down 121 pounds as of today...I started at 327 and today I am 206. I have lost 82% of my excess weight and if I stay on this track I will lose 101% of my excess weight. I am 26 pounds from Dr. Overcash's goal of 180 but if I keep up they way I am losing charts show me at 156. Who knows what will happen, it is all a journey and if I don't lose anymore weight after today, I am happy where I am. I look and feel like a complete different person, which I love. All my fun addictions from the past have come back, shopping for shoes and clothes, shopping for lipstick and makeup. I hated to shop for so many years..now my husband is begging me to stop I have my life back...I have more energy then even my husband (he is 9 years younger then me too) This has been the best decision I have ever made, except for marrying Troy Tracey

Thank you so much, I feel it too. I have been very very very lucky in my success with this surgery. I truely hope people are successful and happy with their decisions just like I am. How exciting that so many good things have come from your WLS! I agree whole heartedly with you that it is one of the best decisions ever made. I am amazed with life everyday! Keep up the great work and thanks for being an inspiration for so many others on the board !

Oh Ginny thank you so much. I am finally a success at something! I use to suceed at overeating and eating all the leftovers Tonight my mom was whining about leftovers in the frig...then I realized I use to the be the garbage can for them. Tracey
