Next Central FL Meet and Greet

Just a reminder that the next M&G is 3/26 at noon at the Altamonte Mall foodcourt. Feel free to join us, this is open to anyone~pre or post op, family, friends, etc. Look for the balloons to identify the group. For those of you not familiar with Altamonte Springs, it is about 10min NE of downtown Orlando on I-4. Hope to see some of you there! Amy -159lb.

Amy, is the time 12-4pm? And how did your visit with Dr. Overcash go? Everything okay?

Ruth, Regarding the M&G, often times there are folks still there until 4pm or later, but it would probably be wise to get there by 2pm just to be safe. The last couple M&Gs the bulk of the people got there early and left by 230pm. Tracey, Flavia and I seem to stay late and chit chat, but I cant guarantee that will be the case every time. My appointment went well...thanks for asking. Overcash was pleased with my increased exercise (walking 3 miles 5x/week) and energy levels. He asked me lots of questions and probably spent more time with me than in the past, it was nice. He said he would have liked me to have lost another 6 lbs, but not to stress about it. Of course I weighed in my shoes, sweater, shirt and jeans so when I got home I weighed all my clothes and it came to 4.4lbs LOL. At that point, I decided I was close enough to what he wanted undressed so I wont sweat it LOL! I'm 85lbs from goal, which seems like a lot, but I feel awesome and hope to be there by the end of the year. Hope you can make the M&G! Amy
