Any surgeons in the Orlando, Fl area

First of I wanted to introduce myself as I am new to this site. My name is Ryan and I am 22 years old. I am planning on having the Lap-Band surgery on March 15 in Texas. The only problem with that is that I live in Orlando, FL and am having some difficulty finding a surgeon in this area to do follow up care because as some of you may know you must have follow up care for the saline injections for the Lap-Band. I have searched and searched for doctors. I found two doctors that perform this surgery in the Orlando area, but one said that he would not do the follow up care because he would want me to go see the surgeon that I had the surgeon done by and the other wants to charge $1000 for follow up care. I could fly to Texas and see my doctor for the $30 office visit for cheaper than that. Well I hope that someone can help me out. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give. Thanks, Ryan

Hi, I had open rny with Dr. Rehnke in St. Pete. They do lapbanding there but not sure if they would do any aftercare without them doing the surgery but you can always call to find out. Their website is obesitynomorefl.com you can get all kinds of info from there and check out the message boards as well. I was really pleased with Dr. Renke and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. HI I WENT TO MEXICO AND HAD LAPBAND SURGERY DONE I CHOSE TO USE DR KIM IN CELEBRATION FL FOR FILLS. I HAD TO PAY $995.00 TO JOIN THEIR PROGRAM AND THAT INCLUDED MY 1ST 2 FILLS AND A NUTRITION CLASS. AFTER THAT MY FILLS ARE ONLY 150.00 I LIVE NEAR JACKSONVILLE SO IT WAS WORTH IT TO JUST KNOW I HAVE A FILL DR AND FILLS ARE ONLY 150 WHERE I FOUND OTHER DRS WHO WANT 700 EA FILL ETC EMAIL ME IF UR INTERESTED IN ANY INFO I HAVE THANKS

Ryan, check the Bariatrics Surgeons area. My friend had Lapband done and the Doc is in Zephryhills, FL which is near the Tampa area- only 45min - 1hr away. I'm not sure what is name is.
