RE: moving to FL I just wanted to thank everyone *****plied. I will definitely keep all of this in mind. We are planning to go to FL the week of March 21 (spring break) and just take a look around. This will give us some areas to start looking in. My hubby is there right now as the company (Adapco) wanted him there. They are based in Sanford, FL. Sanford is a nice area as well. I have friends that live there and have visited them.

Hi Shelley, I live in Lake Mary which is right next to Sanford. There are a lot of people moving to the Deltona/Orange City/Debary area these days because it is affordable and growing. If you want an area a lil more north, I think Ocala, Gainesville or my favorite lil town, Mt Dora (wish I lived there myself) are great areas to consider. Good luck to you with the move! Amy

I love the Ocala area. I'm originally from Oklahoma and it reminds me of home.

I live in Orlando and love it but I've fallen in love with Ocala and I'm not the countrish type of person. But it's a quaint little town and I love going out there. I'm even planning to go to church out there - just to visit and see if it's somewhere where I want to plant my roots.
