arm plastic surgery

I'm looking to have the hangy fat on my arms removed, but I don't want to have that long scar. I've been hearing about a different technique where they pull up the fat and leave a scar only in the armpit. Has anyone else heard about this? Laura

I want that type of arm surgery too once I'm at goal. I know there is a doctor in Orlando who does it, but I havent researched it too much yet. Good luck! Amy

The doctor's name is Gregory Albert and I just spoke with his office. The woman I spoke with seemed very informed. She said that whether or not he will do that procedure is dependant on how much skin I have, but that if he doesn't do that one, he does the regular arm lift. She said that the scar isn't nearly as bad as other doctors. They are in the Orlando area, but do the surgeries at Holy Cross hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, which is close to me. I'm going to try to lose some of my last 40 pounds and see him then. He does free consultations.

I definately NEED arm surgery - and will look into it..but I want the procedure done under the armpit too...I've seen that type of scar and it's not pretty. I'd do my arms and my boobs if it came to that.
