Hotel in Ft Lauderdale.

Does anyone know a good but reasonable hotel in Ft Lauderdale? I am going down the 23rd of march for my Pulm and will be attending the patient info sessions on the 24th. I also have my psyc consult on the 24th and cardiology on the 25. I will need a hotel for 2 nights. Any help would be great. Thanks Kat

Hi Kat! I stayed at the Fairfield Inn at 5727 N. Federal Highway. When I told them that I was there for medical tests at Holy Cross Hospital and Northridge Medical Center for my surgery, they gave me a discount. I had my surgery at Holy Cross and Ericka has given you the information about the places I would suggest. I live in Miami and fortunately, I didn't require staying in the Fort Lauderdale area. It's a nice area with a lot of conviences, though. LuvitsunnyV

since i just had surgery on 1-19-05 i have spent alot of time in hotels in ft lauderdale . if the rate is high for the fairfield inn i would try the the ramada inn on 7. 1/2 a mile from commercial blvd. we were able to get a room for 39.99 a night . and they had a great hot tub . they advertise in the traveler coupon book 39.99 every night . good luck tina -38 lbs

Tina, I have tried to find a listing for the Ramada Inn and the only one I am finding is 120 per night. I will keep looking. I wonder if the price has anything to do with Spring Break going on. Not looking forward to spending that kind of money on a hotel room. Any info or help would be appreciated. Kat
