what is the average weight loss ?

hi everyone ....i'm 1 mth post-op and have lost 38 pounds . i was woundering how much everyone else lost when they started ? i know that everyone is a diffrent person but i just wanted a idea . i am trying to not get discouraged by my progress . i have not had a day yet that i regret having wls but i don't want all of the work to be in vain . anyone that can give me some feed back would be great . thanks for any help you can offer . tina -38
