looking for experiences dealing with medicare

i need toknow if anyone has had or is scheduled to have bypass surgery that is or will be covered by medicare as the primary insurer...was it difficult to get approval..any advice w/b appreciated..names of surgeons thataccept medicare w/ also help i live in west palm and info about this area most helpful

I am sure the Cori Center takes Medicare, They do the surgury at Boca Raton Community Hospital and they are awsome. The two docters who are doing the surgury have done abot 45 of the bariatric with great success. Dr Klein and Colletta are awsome. They take very good care of their patients. They have been doing lap surgurys of all kinds for a very long time and have an outstanding reputation. I am a nurse and had surgury with them. I would recommend them to anyone. Dr. Cox in Ft Lauderdale takes medicare (954-928-0066). I only have medicare no supplements or medicaid just plain traditional medicare. You also do not need pre approval with medicare according to Deborah Cox his nurse and wife. I had my surgery in Dec, he is a very nice Dr. Good Luck
