Hello to one and all! I am 40 lbs from goal! Dr's goal that is, 50 from mine. Loosing about 2-2 1/2 lbs a week, so all is well. There are some days the scales just don't move..... With doing home health care for both my parents, way too hard to exercise. Some days not enough water either. This weekend I have off, so am taking care of myself! I do miss reading the posts each day, so when I have a day off, I attempt to catch up. I see we have new loser's, it is great to see each of you on the "other" side. I found some great protein bars at Sam's, CarbWatchers Gold. Cal-180, Carbs-17g, Sugar-4g and Protein-17g. I can only eat half. More sends me running to bathroom. Not dumping, but something goes on...the sugar is low, so not sure reason. Also bought Philly Swirls(?sp) They are great! No sugar! These I bought at Sam's also. Only place that carries the sf. marla

Glad to hear from you Marla. I was wondering how things were going for you. Congratulations on being so close to goal. Also, thanks on the heads up about the protein bar. I will have to get me some when I go back to Sam's. They were giving out samples of the Philly Swirls last week . Sf kind. Yes, they are good. I live 1 1/2 from Sam's so I was afraid to carry them home. They would have been liquid by then. Next time I will carry my cooler so I can get some. Take care and keep in touch when you can. Carol

Congrats on being so close to goal...feels great don't it. I am 28 pounds from my Dr's goal, which I am sure I will pass up. I haven't even thought of a personal goal. You so need to take care of yourself, if you don't your going to go crazy. I am sorry to hear about both your parents, I can understand my dad is getting worse and worse with cancer. This week we are taking him to Moffitt again to see if they will take him for another research project. I will check out those protein bars, I need to find something to keep in my purse. I have also tried the philly swirl and I really like them, the kids love them too. Keep up the good work and take care of yourself. Tracey -119

Hey Marla! Congrats on being so close to goal! You and I had surgery within about a month of each other and close to the same starting weight. I was 251. I read your profile and read the part about pool walking. Did u enjoy that? I am really wanting to start a water aerobics class here. Even though I am 22, I have horrible knees. Keep up the great work!!! -Katie 251/182.5/142
