Surgery was Thursday, went home Friday!!
Everything went well. Had surgery early Thursday morning and by late Friday afternoon got to go home.
Sugar Free Popscicles are my friend! I love those things and they taste so nice and cool and wet!
This was definetly worth it and I'm getting around pretty good. My first post op visit is tomorrow afternoon so hopefully I'll get the JP drain out and the ON-Q medication disconnected as well.
YAY me! It's over and I'm starting to feel great!

Misskrissyk-
The first five days my surgeon has us on clear liquids-broth, water, sugarfree jello, gatorade, and sugar free popsicles. My mouth was so dry from sleeping on my back I guess with my mouth open that the only thing that really quenched it was the sugar free popsicles. They did give me a swab for my mouth that helped get some dryness out but nothing made it feel better like the sugar free popsicles. I bought a huge box of those and I'm enjoying them the most.
Feel free to write me if you'd like to.
