Finally Onederland!!!
Hello All,
I'm usually a lurker but I just had to announce, Yell, SCREAM it out loud!!! My surgery was 12/7 and I have lost 47 lbs as of this morning.
198!!!!! Only 95 more to go. Dr Jawad wants me to weigh 102. I haven't weighed that since the 5th grade. I'm having a tough time getting all my protein in. I'm supposed to have 60-80 grams per day. The more I eat the faster I lose wt. If anyone has some high pro ideas, please send them along.

Isn't it amazing!! I love this life. Protein is sometimes hard to get in and gets boring if you don'****ch it. I like taking a Carnation instant breakfast, glass of milk and some powder milk and mixing it together. It gives you about 23 grams protein and a glass of Chocolate Milk. I haven't drank chocolate milk since I was a kid but i am loving it now. Also chili is a high protein meal that I do well on.

My goal weight is something like 120 and I'm only 1 inch taller than you! 102 seems pretty light to me.
For protein, I'd throw in a protein shake sometime during the day. With eating so little, it's really impossible to get all the protein from food and you need fluids anyway. I figure a protein shake is jus****er with a kick!!
