Question of the day
Goodness its cold out there! Don't forget your favorite sweaters to curl up in! Mine is a big, cozy black jacket with a teal fleece liner that I bought seven years ago for my first "real" winter in the great smokey mountains of Tennessee, love that jacket and all the memories I have in it. What about ya'll?
Since most of my clothes are way too big these days, I dont have a favorite snuggly sweater but I love the sweater I am wearing in my pic on here. It is a jade colored, embroidered, vintage-looking sweater I got for a steal at Lane Bryant. I think next winter I can start finding new favorites that I can carry forward in my thin life. When I'm really cold now, I tend to throw on flannel lounge pants and a hooded Champion sweatshirt...but that is only when I'm not planning on leaving the house.

When I am cold and at home...I still put on my fleece navy blue zippered housecoat. Now I feel I can snuggle up in it since it is double the size I now am. I am like others. jackets and sweaters are all new so I have not gotten attached to them.
I did have an experience the other night....my neice was in a car wreck and of course is bruised from the seatbelt and airbag. She went by ambulance to ER and they took off her long sleeved pullover shirt. When they released her, we were wondering what she was going to wear home as it was very difficult for her to pull anything over her head and get her arms through them. I went to the car and got my jacket and she wore it home. A year ago that would have never been an option as she is a size 6. But as I am now to a 12, it was big..but not overly large.
BTW, she is ok, car was totaled and she is still sore.
