dizzy...

hay yall..... i have a question.... i get dizzy very easy and im dizzy most of the time... im tryin to get my liquids in... im gettin like 5-6 cups of water in.. i did my b-12 shot yesterday and i was hoping that would help... but it didnt alexa

Alexa, I don't know when your surgery was....but I had a bout with dizziness about 2 months post op and it was due to LOW potassium (I also had bad leg cramps). It is very dangerous to have low potassium. Call your Doctor so he can send you for a blood test. Terese -130 8-19-03

Hi Alexa! I am almost 3 weeks post op and experiencing dizziness also. I wouldn't say most of the time but enough to bother me. I called my Dr. and he sent me for tests (potassium, iron, etc). All came back normal. They told me to be sure I am taking in at least 64 oz of liquid per day, and call back if I'm still feeling the same way in another week. Are you drinking other things besides the water? That would be my suggestion at this point, to try and up the fluids. Hopefully you'll be feeling better in no time. Jezzie
