Jacksonville Pyschiatric Eval- need Dr.

I need to find a Pyschiatrist in Jacksonville who takes Aetna HMO to do a Psychiatric Evaluation for gastric bypass. I have a long list of people from my Insurance...but I was wondering if anyone used someone who they could refer me to! I need to do this ASAP- so please send me some suggestions! Thanks, Linda

I don't know if he accepts Aetna or not however, he is a great psych! His name is Pradeep Arora and is off of Baymeadows. His number is 737-4606. He has later office hours during the week, 3-6 and 12-4 on Fridays. He was great, had my letter done and faxed to the surgeon's office in less than 24 hours. Hugs Kim

Linda, That's GREAT! His office staff, Tara and Tammy, are really nice as is Dr. Arora. I hear that some people have to take that 400+ question test, but you don't have to do that with him. I had my appointment at 3:30 in the afternoon and by 9:30am the next day they had my letter faxed to my surgeon. Glad I could help. Hugs, Kim
