Liquid Iron withs Herbs question

hey all I bought liquid iron with herbs and it says to takehalf of the cup they supply but when I take it straight it makes me Gag BAD. My question is can I mix it in food or a drink? or is there any other type of iron I can use that isnt this bad? thanks

I personally have gone to CVS/Walgreens and found a general iron pill that has 65 mg of ferous something something (iron) and it's a small pill. Check with the pharmacy and see what they recommend.

I buy ferrous sulfate (iron) 324mg at Winn Dixie pharmacy for $4.99. It's made by Paddock Laboratories. It is equivalent to 65mg of elemental iron. They are small red tablets and I take one tablet a day. I was low on iron BEFORE surgery, and now my 3 month blood work turned out great! I also take my iron with a chewable vitamin C.
