Foam & Slime

O.K. not sure what is going on...Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and today I ate lunch in the cafeteria at work around 12 or 1. Then by 5 or 6 o'clock I start having a lot of gas and cramps...but when I go to the bathroom only gas and slime comes out with little bit of stool. Then I also feel nauseated and vomit but only foam comes up, since I haven't eaten anything. No wait 3 of the 4 days I had some grapes mid-afternoon. I can't find any common thread...W & T I had grapes and thought that might be the problem, but didn't have them on F and still felt bad. I did have a couple cookies WTF and thought maybe the sugar was getting me...but today no cookies and still got ill. I have eaten most of these things before without problems...the only common thread is that I felt this way after eating at work...didn't notice problems over the weekend. Any thought about what may be going one? I see my PCP tomorrow for follow-up for other things...and plan on mentioning the recent problems. The big test is not to eat in the cafeteria tomorrow and see how I feel.

When I get what you described, I call it dumping. But it does not take that long for it to happen to me. Usually the food just has not agreed with me. I had chinese food last week and the 3rd meal from it effected me that way.

I agree with Martha - could be dumping. I had some veggie soup and thought I was fine but than I had to run to the - you know where - don't need to share the visuals. I would say share the info with the docs office and stay away from the cafeteria - or better yet bring in some foods that you can tolerate. Good luck!
