Question of the Day

Good Morning, Friends! TGIF! I've decided to put the Q of the D on the back burner for a while. I hope you all don't mind but I think the novelty of it has worn off. Keep in mind, I started this last Spring before my surgery so I feel like I have paid my dues and quite frankly, have run out of questions unless they become repetitive or more obscure, political or around current events which might cross the line on here with the rules of the board. So I'm throwing in the towel but only on my daily Q of the D post, you'll still have me around (cant get rid of me that easily !) And I cant promise I wont post one occasionally if I come up with something good, but they wont be daily. So anyway... I thought we could end my run with everyone re-introducing themselves since we have lots of new friends on here. What's your name? age? location? what do you do? kids? pets? pre-op or post-op? starting BMI? current BMI? you know the drill ... Tracey Riehle 33 Altamonte Springs I take care of my kids, dad, husband and our house. I was going to school but stopped the other day...checking Devry and ITT programs now. Oh I also complain a lot I have 3 kids, 12, 6 and 2...boy, girl, and girl. 4 cats, 3 dogs (****er, and 2 retired greyhounds), and 3 turtles we hatched from eggs we found near our dock. I am post-op almost 6 months now. Starting BMI was 48.3 Current BMI is 31.9 Come on lurkers....we want to know about you guys too.

Hey I am 46, Have 3 grown children ages 21,23,25. I am a registered nurse X13 years. I currently live with my fiance. I have a 4.5 pound long haired chihauhau, My fiance has a 5.5 pound scottie and we have a boxer/lab puppy that is about 14 weeks old and 25 pounds already. I have 2 cats. I live in Deerfield Beach a little less than a mile from the beaches. I am 2 months+ 1 week post-op, down 46 pounds. Starting BMI 45, currently 37.1.

Stephanie Burruss 35 I live in Jacksonville now but from West Palm Beach. (who knows where the navy will take us next) I've lived in Ca. & Va. also. I'm a stay at home wife/mom for now. I have 3 children, 2 boys, 15 and 7, and 1 girl, 10. We have a Lhasa Apso his name is Buddy and a cat, his name is Rayna we were told Rayna was a girl. I love the name Rayna so the poor cat has a girly name. I'm 18 days post-op. Starting BMI was 43.3 On surgery day 41.1 And today I'm at 38.3 Have a great weekend Stephanie

Hi Everyone, My name is Barbara and I live in St. Pete. I'm a 57 year old grandmother of three beautiful grandkids who live in Illinois. I'm just under two months post-op. The first month I lost 28.5 lbs. and I think I'm down about 40+ at this point. I'll know the "official" number on Monday. I work fulltime as a Customer Service Manager.

I am Carol and I live in Port St Joe, Florida. I am 50 years old and I am married to a great guy who is 15 years older than I am. We have a total of 9 children , 11 grand children and have been married 22 years. We have two daughters still at home that are in college. (17&19) We homeschooled these two from the start. I am a free lance writer and I enjoy walking the beaches and staying in the warm florida sun. My BMI was 44.6 when I had the surgery 3 months ago and now it is 36. I have lost 57# so far. You all have made this journey so much easier and I want to thank Amy for being there to listen and give me feedback on my silly jokes.
