New Scale

I bought a new scale this weekend and I weighed 316 Sunday morning with only my nightshirt on. So today I wanted to see how it compared to the scale at the health center at work and there with clothes and garments on I weight 323...awhile ago it was 338 but I knew that when I weighed there with wraps (heavier than garments) I weight 332 so I was losing. Well, I get home and my scale says 323 also, so it's as accurate as the one at work. Let's just hope both are about the same as my surgeon's scale, because that's the one that counts. The last scale I owned lasted about 4 weigh-ins. On that final one I heard a loud "BOING" and the arrow went dead. I knew I was over the capacity but I would just let it go past 300 the first time and add the second weight. I would say that was about 10 years ago.

I love my scale! Maybe it's because for so long I was too big to use the ones at Publix or even at the doctor's office. I know some people only weigh in at their doctor's appointments to avoid becoming addicted to the scale, but it really helps keep me on track. Mine is also calibrated to the one at my doctor's office, which is a good thing. Amy
