DOWN
My original surgery date was tommorrow....Thinking about this makes me feel horrible. I have an elevated white blood cell count and had to postpone it until they figure out what the deal is. I know in my heart this is the best thing and am greatful to have a medical team that is so thorough and caring...I am still basically depressed...I am doing everything to get back on track and going to all my Doctors appointments. I even went to see my chiropractor who is quite skilled in Contact Reflex Analysis (Some believe in it some don't I know it can work) Anyway I don't know what I want to make me feel better I guess I just wanted to talk about how I am feeling and hopefully it will make it a little better. I have continued my pre-0p diet and am loosing a little weight...that's good. I have faith I am just disappointed. Thank you to everyone that sent me well wishes when I originally posted that I had to postpone. Okay before I continue to ramble I will go...Hoping for good news soon.
Kristen,
as many people will tell you it all happens for a reason. I had my surgery postponed 2 times due to problems with hospitals and Doctors I had chosen. But due to the good Lord I was sent to wonderful surgeon. So your time will come. Keep up your spirit, dont stay down you have a wonderful life ahead of you

I know you are down and I know you understand why it had to be postponed BUT it does make it feel lousy, huh? Just remember it will change soon and with you working to get everything back on track, it wont be long and you will be on the losing side.
Ramble on any time you feel the need. We all understand. It is nice to talk to people that do. At least we all have something in common. Try to stay busy today and tomorrow so you don't let it get you down too bad.

Kirsten, I've seen lots of people with post-op infections, so your surgeon sure is smart to wait with your surgery. Just what you DO NOT need is a head start on ruining your chance of a quick and easy recovery!!! It will all work itself out and you'll be on the losing side when the time is right for you!!!
Hang in there. I can understand that this is a huge disappointment for you!
