Hello To One And All

I have not been on the boards in weeks. Have been reading a few to catch. Both my parents have been on Hospice for past month, so time is limited. The great news, I've lost 76 lbs. Went for my checkup with Dr Murr yesterday. All is well, next checkup in 4 months. He spoke to me about having a tummy tuck, no way! I never want to see the inside or a hospital again. I may change my mind at some point, but not at this time. Is there an Orlando Meet and Greet set up? Marla

Miss Marla! LTNS, so happy to see your face again on here! Congrats on your weightloss, keep it up! 76lbs, wow that's ALMOST as much as one of the Olsen twins ! I am so sorry to hear about your folks, I will hope you can find peace soon throughout that difficult situation with them. I'll keep you all in my prayers. Our next M&G will be 1/22 at noon, Altamonte Mall foodcourt (unless I find a meeting room someplace fast). Hope you can make it Amy

Hi Amy, so good to hear from you! I have really missed being on the boards. I will add the 22nd to my date book..I have a caregiver with my parents on the weekends and couple days darning the week, so I can have some down time. I look and feel skinny until I am with my granddaughter, who is taller than me and wears a size 1/2! We went shopping last weekend, was a blast. She is into 60's style, which is my favorite. I felt fat with her, but wearing a 14/16 is grand.

I have not been to a meet and greet would go but don't drive my best wishes to you all thanks shannon

Shannon, perhaps there is some one near by that you could ride with.

Hi, my meds are working well. Did increase depression meds with all the problems, thought it best. Sure hope I can make m&g, miss everyone!

Hey Marla, I dont have one as of yet. I am waiting for BCBS to send the paperwork back to my docs office. It should be anytime, maybe today I am hoping. The paperwork went out last wed, the 29th. Ill let ya know when I hear about it! Becky
