My one indulgence I couldn't live without? My help. I work hard and I'm on call ALL the time so I have someone come in and clean my house every other week and I have a wonderful lawn service that not only cuts the grass and edges, but also weeds, feeds and plants flowers!! Having this help is a HUGE indulgence, but I'm single and make a good living and I'm happy to spoil myself with this! Even when I'm thin and energetic, I promise you that cleaning will NEVER be my life!!! Good question, Amy!!!! Now later on today after you get more responses I hope you answer it for yourself as well. Jan

Jan, I so understand your indulgence, I have a good landscape service, but not a cleaning service at this point. Will as soon as I can afford it, my other indulgences are taking up all my $$$ right now!! Vivi

Dear Amy, I could not live without my naps in the afternoon. I should be out walking, but it feels so good to curl up with my pillow and comforter and smell the fabric softener. It's when I say my afternoon prayers and thank God for the good things in my life. God Bless, MaryKaye

Wow, Amy! You really made me think this morning. for many many years I don't think I did much "indulging" for me at all. Working to please everyone around me kept me busy. Actually having this surgery was pretty much indulging me and I am not sure how long I would have lived without it BUT...............If I went beyond that... I would say that my time early in the morning is my true indulging thing for me that I would never want to give up. It started when there were many of the kids still at home. I would get up an hour or so before needed to get everyone to the appointed place and just drink a Coke, read the paper or sit on the porch and relax. As the years have gone by, I don't have as many in the house but I still like to get up before anyone and get a drink (now it is a protein shake), and spend time for me. I almost always sit down here and check out what every one is doing, write emails to my sisters and enjoy watching the day start out my window. Some mornings I go for my walk before anyone even gets up. Since my husband is retired, he sleeps in a little more and I just take that time for me. After years of keeping a family moving smoothly, it is nice to just do "whatever" comes to mind or nothing at all as the morning comes. Good question, Amy. What about you? Carol

Johnson & Johnson Pure Cornstarch Baby Powder. I consider this an indulgence because I don't do the cheap stuff...it has to be J&J. More expensive but well worth it to me.

My indulgences that I CANNOT live without are my weekly horse back riding lessons and my purses... I have found that horses are better than shrinks. Also, when not covered in mud in a stable, a girl's gotta have a few Pradas and Louis Vuittons -Vivi
