Finally some good news!

Hey Everbody! My surgery was Dec 7th and I was stuck on a 20 lb plateau for over 2 weeks. I kept reading all these profiles of people that lost 40 lbs their first month and I was getting very discouraged. Finally, the scale moved and I lost 3 more pounds. Yay for me! The other thing is that I fit into my size 22 petite jeans and could zip them and button them. Also, I am going back to work tomorrow and I fit into sze xl scrub pants and my 2x top. It's been forever since I could get into those clothes. Yay for me! God Bless, MaryKaye

Sounds like you are doing great. Try not to compare to others. One thing, you have to remember, the more you need to lose, they say the quicker you take some off. I think 20 pounds in 4 weeks is a great start AND THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS................WHEN was the last time you did that. Hang in there. We all have times we wonder if it is working. I am there now.........I haven't lost any since Christmas but then.............I didn't gain anything either. Good luck. and Congrats on getting in the scrubs. Carol

Congratulations MaryKaye. When the scales didn't move I always took out the measuring tape. I never quite could figure out how I could lose an inch without losing a pound but it always got me thru. LuvitsunnyV@goal
