Lap Band Fills-Tampa area

Hi, Am moving to the Tampa area soon and looking for a doctor who will do fills on people who had lap band put in in Mexico for a reasonable price. Any info provided would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Amy- If you go to the American Society of Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) you can do a search for docs by specialty in a particular area. You may also want to check the web site of the company that manufactured the band that you have. I would think that you could do a search there for providers as well. To get to the ASBS website ( just add the http://www.) .asbs.org/

Hi, Thanks! Checked with the company that makes the band--got a list and called the majority of them with no luck. They don't want to touch me if I got it put in Mexico!! Having a hard time finding someone!

That stinks. What does the company have to say about that. Looks like if they are going to sell to Docs overseas they would have some responsibility to the people who get their device.
