Question Of The Day

I realize that Amy only posted one question this week because so many of us are gone and the board is quiet, but I gotta admit it, I miss the Question of the Day and I'm here and I'm bored!!!! So, please tell us what plans if any you've got for New Year's Eve. Parties out or at home? Staying up to watch the ball drop? Going to bed early and glad to see 2004 go? Or avoiding "amateur night" like me??? Jan

Good Morning Jan! It's always great to see your smiling face. You question made me realize that I had absolutely no plans as of yet. Generally we have a party at home or go to some formal occassion. Since my grandfather and mother have to work that night no one is too excited. Mom wants us to come out to the airport (where she works) and ring in the new year...I'd just as soon stay home and watch the 'ole ball drop. My confession -Originally I was supposed to meet my eHarmony Match on New Year's Eve but chickened out...now that I'm more relaxed about this, he's busy Danielle

New Year's Eve is also my husband and my anniversary. Dinner and then a quiet evening at home. That's about it. We let the kids stay up if they want to... they usually poop out before midnight. They get that from me

I think I am going to stay home this year. I usually stay over at a friend's house and she makes a big dinner, we play games and ring in the new year. But she is working this year and unless they let her off early, I'll stay close to home. I really dont want to be on the road after 8pm. Maybe I'll go to my sister's house. I'm not stressing about it, just another night to me. Amy -131 lbs.

Hi Everyone and good morning! Milton and I had made big plans to go out to a local BBW club and hang out and bring in the New Year with friends, danceing and laughter..........but with so much money spent on the holidays we are broke so those plans have changed as of yesterday! We are going to go to my sisters house with my girlfriend and her husband and play board games, have a drink or two and watch the ole' ball drop! Just the 6 of us, so quiet and fun! Stay away from the amateurs by staying home. We go to the Citus Bowl game on Jan 1.

Hi Jan, My Dh and a few friends are going to dinner and then back to my house to watch the ball drop on the tube. Maybe some popcorn along the way. I just hope I stay up, about 10 o'clock I normally start fading. If I had some live entertainment to keep me awake.....Maybe I can get hubby to dance for us....that would be special Happy New Year to all my OH buddies. Be Safe. tina
