Update on Terriberrie C

I am sorry to inform everyone that Terriberrie C isnt doin to good right now. They wouldnt do the surgery, once the opened her up they found she has sarosis of the liver. (sorry dont know how to spell it) Her hubby said they are talking about a liver transplant. Please everyone pray for her and her hubby she needs all of us right now. Her hubby had just found out a few minutes before i had called him so he really didnt feel like talking. I will update you more as i hear.

I keep wondering why didn't they know this prior to surgery. Isn't that what pre-op testing is for.

well someone told me they looked it up and they said "I did a search on Wed MD and it said that the only true test to confirm cirrhosis is with a liver biopsy so that could be why it wasnt diagnosed prior to surgery"

Such a shame! I will keep Terri and her family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that she is able to recover from this horrible situation quickly.
