Question of the WEEK

I thought I'd post one New Year's question this week since the board has slowed down a lot due to the holidays. I'll be back next week with daily questions. Please forward me any and all question ideas that you think of so I can add them to my ongoing list. So... Do you typically make New Year's resolutions? If so, do you have any that arent weightloss or exercise related? Maybe... you want to quit smoking? quit yelling at the kids so much? clean the house more often? get organized? clean out the garage? My resolution (or project) is to get more organized in the house, especially the garage and closets. Happy New Year, Friends! Amy -130lbs.

Happy New year to all! My resolution is like yours Amy. I am working on organizing my house. Seems I can never find what I need and am constantly spending way too much time looking for something. I want to take back my life in all aspects and become a more involved person in my own life and be more productive. Good question. Carol -50#

I want to get more organized as far as paper work is concerned, I'm going to start fileing them so I can find it. Drives me crazy looking for something "I Know it"s Here!". Have a Happy New Year to all my WLS family. tt

Wishing everyone an exciting New Year! My resolution this year is to quit smoking! I also would like to get my house clean and in order and get myself on some type of schedule to keep up with these things! Best of luck to all! MICHELLE

Last year I had 4 resolutions that I put on my refrigerator: 1. Laugh more (I'm trying). 2. Cruise with family (Memorial Day weekend-we had a blast!) 3. Find a church ( Holy Cross in Sanford, not great but OK). 4. Have WLS ( December 7th-lost 23 lbs onle 118 more to go!). I'm still thinking about next years resolutions. MaryKaye

To be honest with you, Amy, I don't really do resolutions at New Years. I make resolutions when the need arises. I started working on my weight and health issues this past spring and now here I am, nearly 60 lbs. down following WLS. I joined a gym in November and I go faithfully every week. I will be needing a new wardrobe in the not-too-distant future, so I'm saving for a BIG shopping spree! I've surpassed all census goals at my job and am moving forward into the new year with wonderful numbers and a happy boss!! Happy New Year everyone!!! Jan

I have two... wear my makeup to work each day.... blow dry my hair before I go out... They may seem stupid, but they are what I am resolved to do.
