Appetite & hunger 7 days post surgery?

I'm following all the directions on post surgery 2-7 days etc but I have hunger pains like I haven't eaten in a week. I thought this wasn't supposed to happen for a while? What tricks are there to deal with this?

I've heard of this, but didn't experience it myself. Some of it might be head hunger and some of it might be how your new pouch feels to you. Anyway, I would suggest that you keep sipping water and hopefully your pouch will settle down some. Have you been drinking nearly every waking moment? Good luck!! Jan

Make sure you are following your diet completely at this stage and get your water in. Many times, thirst masks itself as hunger. Hang in there
