I Went Shopping Today

I brought all my pants that were too big to the consignment shop and now I want to replace them. The consignment shop I go to, specializes in "goddess" sizes, so there's a good selection there. I found a nice size 14 and a 12 and decided to try them, knowing that neither would fit, but also knowing that at these prices, I could wait! Plus, I'm really short and would have to take them to a seamstress to have them shortened, so the pants couldn't be worn right away anyway. Lo and behold, the 14 fit and I got the 12 up, but not fastened!! Can you believe I'm trying on those sizes!!!!!! It's less than 4 months and I'm making so much progress so fast!! I really think that all the exercising is helping change my figure too! Just wanted to share my glory moment!! Jan

Congrats Jan!!! I KNOW you must feel like dancin' dancin'............ I can't even imagine wearing a size 14 ..... Maybe someday................. Pulling on a size 12!!!!! All I can say is WHOOOHOOOO.......... Keep up the great work. Carol

JAN! That's wonderful. I had an interesting situation this evening when I was dressing for church. I had a pair of 20's that matched my shirt....they have been a bit big for awhile now but ok, and when I put them on they fell down. So my grandmother brings me this pair of pants to wear and I asked what size, she said, "JUst put the dumb things on!" So I did and they were a hair too snug but I could make it work, right? Stinkin' size 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No kidding. Now, to be totally comfortable, a 16 would have been fine but I can't believe I poured my big butt into those size 14 pants and wore them to church at that. Merry Christmas Danielle! Nuthin' like a stinkin' size 14, is there!?!?!?! I've only got a couple of things that are size 14 that I can wear. There's still lots of 14s that I can't get into, but that will come soon enough. Congratulations and Merry Christmas on your best Christmas present ever!! A new healthy bod! Jan
