Amy, hope you don't mind. What was the best Christmas gift you have ever gotten? My old boss gave me a snowcone machine, it was the "best" because it made me laugh and cry because it meant he had actually listened to some of the many stories I tell...one of which was that I never had a Snoopy Snow Cone Machine as a kid and always wanted one...as a kid. This year, I know my best gift will be spending time with my mom, cooking and laughing. I haven't seen her since she dropped me off down here in July, we talk almost everynight but she is either at work or watching my niece and nephew so we don't really get to have a good conversation.

I must be getting old because I do not remember what I have received for Christmas through the years. I enjoy so much seeing the kids faces when they open their presents. As my kids are grown ( I still get them a bunch of presents) My fiance and I helped to provide Christmas for the kids next door to us. They are 3 and 11 and live with their father. No mother in the picture. We also took several angels off the angel tree at church. These things are the greatest presents for me.

My husband and I have been married 21 years. We both brought children to this marriage. He had 5 and I had 2. Then we had two children so there is a total of 9. Through the years, things have been tight, but Christmas was always fun because we made gifts and baked and enjoyed the group. Don't get me wrong, this group didn't always get along. His kids were teens when we got together and not particularly fond of these little ones I had. Each year my husband would make me something or buy me some small thing. The greatest gift , however, was the look in his eyes when I opened his gift. He would be so nervous, hoping I would like whatever he had for me. Knowing the nervousness and anxiety he had only made me realize just how much he loved me. The greatest gift was that look because, no matter how bad things were, we were going to survive it together. He STILL gets that look with each present he give me. He is truly the love of my life. Thanks for letting me go on about this. I needed to count some blessings today. Carol -44#

Last year was my best Christmas hands down! I got so many wonderful gifts! I was having real hard financial trouble last year and because of it I lost my car and I had to pawn a very important piece of jewlery a neckalace my mom got me when I graudated. Well I was never able to get the jewlery back from pawn and lost it! On Christmas last year, My sister who is the best and a year younger then me! Bought me a truck it had a big bow on it, the neckalace I lost in the pawn she bought back and it was hanging on the rear view mirror in the truck! Milton also got me a Mothers Ring which is just beautiful! My grandmother made me a purple and white blanket (purple is my fav. color) and my mother also got me a diamond ring! I cried so many happy tears last year! It was awesome! MICHELLE.

The best gift when I was a kid was the year my brother and I each got a little TV for our rooms! Mine was orange and his was green!! Can you imagine!! But it was SUCH a surprise and sooooo cool. One of the best gifts I got when I was an adult was when my boss took me to NYC during Christmas. We got to walk around some and see the window displays, we took a subway ride and ate lunch at the Promenade Cafe at Rockefeller Center where we could see the ice skaters. Too bad that boss was such a total jerk or it would have been even better!! Jan

Sarah Margaret, I dont mind one bit, knock yourself out... I can't recall any one gift that stands out to me. Well, maybe the Pong game we got in the 70's that my brother, sister and I had to share . Or... Maybe the best is yet to come ! Today, I took my employees to lunch at Macaroni Grille, we did our Secret Santa exchange and man oh man, did I rake it in. I got a beautiful Liz Claiborne purse and candied cranberry candle from my S.S. (she obviously went way over the $20 limit). My team gave me a huge gift basket of Sweet Pea stuff from Bath and Bodyworks, a candle and stuffed puppy that barks jingle bells. I was truly surprised and enjoyed our time out away from the office. It was an awesome day, and just solidified my thoughts of being surrounded by such good, supportive people at work. Good times. Amy P.S. I am now officially on vacation until Jan. 3rd

Sarah Margaret, My 3 daughters gave me a gift that keeps on giving.....My 3 grandchildren. They are always full of little hugs and smiles. They are wonderful. My secretary gave me the best gift this year. It's a glass block with a fairy riding on a dragonfly etched in the middle. and it has a base that has a beam of light that changes color in the middle, so the fairy changes color. It is awesome. She is the best. I collect fairies. I feel that this year I have been truly blessed. Probaly to many blessings to name. just a few, my WLS, my health back.
