Good new from Tricare

Hi gals and guys, Got an E-mail from Tricare today and they wanted to inform me that they had reconsidered their earlier decision that only approved Open Rny and they are now approving Laparoscopic Rny. I was glad to hear this and hope it is good news to some of you out there. Happy Holidays.

That is great news Kirsten. Now, will your surgeon be able to adjust??

Thanks sharing in my good news. My surgeon is happy to adjust. He much prefers that I have Laparoscopic and does far more in this fashion. How are you doing?

If they would hurry and OK Lap Band I would be really happy. Congads to you.

Kristen Thanks for the information and for the email. I call Tricare and they said that the only thing that I need is a re-request from my Dr to them. Im going to call my DR on Monday. I keep you informes. Bless you vanessa

Did they mention where this can be found in writing. I wanted to see if Tricare was also changing their minds on Lap band surgery.
