Food of the Day x 2
Hey all! Sorry I didn't post one yesterday..my finals are coming up next week and I have been swamped! So for yesterday, I have:
Gerber Stage 2 Bananas with apples and pears. My dietician mentioned baby food because of the stages we have to go through post op...and I have found this one to be a tasty snack! It's tastes like the pine-orange banana juice in the stores (my fave oj). Also, it's packaged in a cool little plastic container with resealable lid. So if you eat it in public nobody looks at you all crazy like your eating baby food--it looks like applesauce! LOL
Stats: 80 cal 16 sug 1 protein 1 fiber 240mg potassium
And for today:
take out idea!! At subway, I tried a sandwich the other day that was really good and made me forget all about my fave seafood sub!
** 6in. whole wheat sub w/grilled chicken breast, provolone cheese, light mayo or mustard, (i chose all these toppings, but it can differ) lettuce, cucumber, green pepper, onion. It's real simple, but the flavor is awesome!! The stats are on subways menu--it's one of their low fat low cal. subs. Hope you find this handy!
