All right - fess up.... Did you rush around this weekend and over do it? Now tell the truth.... I bet most of you did (I sure did!) so here is another holiday de-stressing tip... No matter what you have waiting for you to do, go to bed 30 minutes early. You'll wake up bright-eyed & bushy-tailed the next morning and ready to tackle another day of work & holiday preparations! If I go to bed early, I usually get up early and have more energy. Why do you think I post my Q of the D before the sun is up most days? Since surgery, my body just doesn't need sleep like it used to before. I love the added benefit and can assure you, I was Queen of needing 8-10hr sleep as a pre-op, now I can easily function on 6hr. Thanks for the tip! Amy

Sounds good, but what works for me is a smooth top-off to the evening by enjoying a mind altering substance (vodka is my poison of choice) and wake up early to a brisk cool morning walk where its just me and the pavement. No kids, no spouse, no traffic and even all the gawkers are asleep. Thats my morning coffee, those are my de-stressers...oh yea, and doing the majority of my shopping online!
