OT: PRAYERS

Evening all.....Those that know me know that I dont post mostly I am just one of the many "LURKERS" that roam around here In any case I have a small request for some prayers for 2 people: One is my Co-workers wife. She is due to have her surgery in Tallahassee tommorow. Although I fully beleive in WLS, I am concerned that she did jump into this a bit on the quick side, I know she has a good doctor, and I have talked many a days at work with her husband and I just really get the impression that they should have researched this more, almsot to the point that believes that---he--- it was a quick fix for them..... but in any case please keep her in your thoughts tommorow as one of many that is have WLS I am sure. Second of all is my aunt. She could literally be the poster child for someone to have WLS. She is prolly what you would call "SUPER MORBILDY OBESE". She suffers from many problems and is often, like now in the hospital for an intestinal blockage and ulcers. I have talked and talked and talked about her and what her weight is doing to her but she is too scared to go through WLS. So if you dont mind keep her in your thoughts and just maybe she will pull on out of this too. Thank you all......I enjoy reading and getting ot know you all by your post that you leave here on a daily basis. Maybe one day I will come out of my "LURKER" status and becopme more active with you all here on the board. OH before I leave One more thing.....I go for my Nutrionist/rehabiltation appointment this week {Tues} as well as my Psych appointment this thursday.....Wish me luck! I really hope that I can get a date before the end of this year. It would really make my Christmas! TATA for now.... Becky

You got it Becky! Hope all goes well for your friend's wife & your aunt. Out of curiosity, which surgeon is she using in Tallahassee? I've got my pre-op visit scheduled for 1/3/05 with Dr. Sieloff I'd love to hear feed back about her surgery & which surgeon she is using. Vickie J.

Hey there Vickie... Thanks. All prayers are very usefull indeed. The surgeon there using is Dr. Ballero, sorry. But I have heard some great things about Seiloff. I have to finsh getting ready for work now but when I come home this evening I can tell you more about what I know if you want. Just let me know! Becky
