I was Approved!!!! Most of you know that I had been denied twice before but I got a call from insurance on Tuesday saying my 2nd appeal was approved. Then yesterday, the surgeon's office called with my surgery date- December 28th - only 25 more days!!! Anyone out there want to be my angel? My surgery will be in Gainesville with Dr Robert Rout. I live in Jacksonville, FL. Any takers??? Thanks Terri

Terri, I glanced at your profile to see what insurance company you had, and it's the same as mine - Aetna HMO. Congratulations on your approval; you must be elated, excited and ecstatic!!! I also noticed that you want to take dancing classes, but not until you've hit the century mark. I'm just finishing taking a line dancing class and I've only lost 50 lbs. It's been lots of fun, although I'll never use the dances because I never go to the clubs! Silly me, I just did it for the exercise!! Congratulations again!! Jan

Thanks Jan, I really am very excited- it took a while to get the approval but once I understood what Aetna wanted, I got it to them and was approved right away. The dance classes are something that I have always wanted to do- I say the century mark because I have about 200 to lose, but if I feel like I can handle it, I will do it earlier- one of the other things I am excited about is being able to ride a bike again- I feel wobbly now so I don't do it. I have been MO my entire adult life so I really feel blessed to get to start over now- My surgery is exactly one week after my 37th birthday. 40 will be nothing when I am fit and healthy!!! Terri
