Is this finally happening?

I can't believe it...am still in shock but Aetna told me I am approved. I almost dropped the phone! The tears started coming. I was ready for a fight. My surgery is scheduled for Jan 24th at Coral Springs Medical Center with Dr Wizman. They wanted to do it Jan 3rd but I didn't feel that would give me enough time to get all the pre op stuff done. Especially at the end of the year, around holidays, and considering my manager bans anyone from taking any days off in December. The important part is I am actually approved! Thanks for letting me share!

I alsom have Aetna and I found that thry were easy to work with as long as you gave them what they asked for. What a great way to start the new year. Congrats

Been there, done that!!! If you give Aetna what they ask for, they approve without a problem, but you DO have to give them what they want and you cannot cut corners. Congratulations on your approval. Now you'll just have to find someone else to fight with! HA! Jan
