Phoenix's Quick 'n' Easy Banana Shake Ingredients: * 1/2 Banana that has been sliced into pieces and frozen overnight * 10 oz skim milk (I use nonfat lactaid--it seems a little thicker) * 1/4 cup splenda * ice (amount depends on how slushy you want the shake) * dash-1/2 tspn pumpkin spice (or your fave spice...i.e., cinnamon, nutmeg, etc...) * Cool Whip Lite (optional) Directions: Place all ingredients in the blender and blend! You can top this off with a dallop of Cool Whip Lite (if you can handle it) and another dash of your chosen spice! (You can add more banana or more milk to your liking, just remember to recalculate your stats) Enjoy! Stats: cal 161 sugars 19.5 protein 11.5 carbs 33 -Phoenix p.s. a fun fact i learned: One teaspoon of table sugar is equivalent to 4 grams.

oh yeah, 7.5 of the sugars came from the banana and 12 came from the milk, i think they are natural sugars and my dietician told me i could have no more than 20g sugar per serving...so hopefully post op's can handle this shake...but i guess it's trial and error!
