Suggestions PLEASE!!!
I go back to work tomorrow and I know this is silly but I am stressing over what I need to take to have through out the day! Does anyone eat like lean cuisines? Should I take a couple of different things? Like there are days that I can tolerate tuna and there are days I can't. Any suggestions/ideas would be fantastic! Thanks in advance!
Taking things that you can tolerate is always a good idea. I just traveled to Ky and I took protein bars and drinks with me for the trip so I knew I would have something that I could eat. You might want to make sure you carry something like that for at least the first week or so. That way you can make sure you don't have problems while at work. At least you would have you protein going in with out worries.

When I first went back to work, I took an insulated lunch box with string cheese, mini LF yogurt, SF jello, protein shakes and bars. If they have a fridge at your work, you can put some of this in there. I have started a stash in my drawer at work of protein shakes, bars, soy crisps (Stacey's brand are the best) and some Soup at Hand containers. I have been really good at not snacking on these unless I am truly hungry.

i also am returning to work tomorrow, had lap-band on the 19th...Packing my protein shakes..bought the small Hamilton beach mixer at wal-mart for 12.00$ soup in a cup, yogurt {adkins] and some Arizona tea..work in an O.R. so will drink as i can between cases..just plan to cover all the bases. i drink p.shake on way to work in sted of coffee..then that is one out of the way and nother at work and one for the drive home... the water during the day is going to be tricky for me...good luck...Gloria
Take what you know you can have in containers already pre-measured. I can now eat frozen dinners and lean cusines are good. Pay attn to the protein and carb count when you buy them. If you eat PB crackers, keep them on hand. I ate about every 2 hours when I first came back to work and got tired quicker. So keep that in mind. I keep water or crystal light with me now.
Also, I have up to an hours drive to work every day. Pay attention to what your body does. I found I could not drink OJ on the way to work or I would need to stop on the way. I do not drink anything until I get to work and not OJ anymore. (and take some extra clothes with you. Accidents can happen during the drive.) Sometimes traffic hinders immediate bathroom stops.
Life has gotten better and I do not need to do all the planning anymore but when I first came back to work, I wished someone would have cautioned me.
