Good morning
Good morning Friends. I hope everyone has had an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday. Cathy and I have had a great weekend. We went to my mothers house for dinner Thursday, where I cooked the turkey, dressing, and potatoes, my sisters brought other vegestable, breads and desserts for themselves. Cathy cooked collard greens, and made pumpkin pies with Splenda, and they tasted great, so we were able to enjoy dessert just like real people. I know I haven't been posting a lot lately or being very supportive, but I have been real busy the last couple of weeks. Besides my job keeping me busy, we are building a house and it's almost ready to move in, so there are a thousand things to do there before we move in. I am down 135 pounds, in less than eight months, I now weigh what I did when I was 16 years old, I'm not exercising like I should but I am still losing, so I must be doing something right. If I don't have a chance to say it later, I hope everyone has a great holiday, and remember above all, post-ops, take your vitamins and supplements EVERYDAY, this is your life we're talking about.
Steve,
Glad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving, mine was fine on this end. Did pretty well with eating the right foods and managed to lose a pound. Woo Hoo!
WOW, it sounds like you and Cathy do have a lot going on these days! I am envious about the new house. I hope to sell my home and build a new one in a couple years. I still have so many projects to finish so I can move forward with that plan. I have great ideas, just struggle with the execution of them
.
Anyway, keep up the great work on the weightloss and have a wonderful holiday season too.
Take care,
Amy
